Homeopathy Software for Case Analysis

Home / Homeopathy Software

VithoulkasBrain is online homeopathy software built on the teachings, methodology and clinical experience of Prof. George Vithoulkas.

It brings repertorization, Materia Medica search and case records together in one Expert System-powered platform, designed for practitioners and students of Classical Homeopathy. On this page you can see what homeopathy software does, what VithoulkasBrain offers, who it is for, and how to try it.

What does homeopathy software do?

In Classical Homeopathy the practitioner looks for the remedy that fits the individuality of the case, out of thousands of possible remedies. Doing this by hand with printed books is slow, detailed analytical work. Homeopathy software supports the practitioner with three core tasks.

Repertorization

The practitioner selects the rubrics (symptoms) of the case from a repertory, and the software combines them to show which remedies are related to the case. Good repertorization is not only about how many symptoms a remedy covers. The quality and intensity of the symptoms matter more than their number.

Materia Medica lookup

Once a few remedies stand out, the practitioner studies them in the Materia Medica and compares their characteristic symptoms with the case. Searchable Materia Medica texts make this comparison much faster than turning pages.

Case analysis and case records

Software helps organise the symptoms of a case, weigh them by importance, keep a record of every consultation and review follow-ups over time, so that the reasoning behind each prescription stays clear and documented.

How a case is analysed in VithoulkasBrain

You enter the symptoms of the case and set their intensity. Clicking VB Results runs the Expert System analysis, based on the Confirmed Repertory and Vithoulkas’ Intensity Keynotes. A Flat Repertorisation view is also available. You can then add keynotes from GV Keynotes, study the leading remedies in the Materia Medica, and save the case in your Online Clinic to review at the next follow-up.

The final decision always stays with the practitioner. VithoulkasBrain is designed to support your own reasoning, not to replace it.
